Omexco Rainbows Wallcoverings collection features an explosion of colours of recycled sari silk, woven and intertwined with strips of bakbak (bark of the banana tree) and is distributed by Brian Yates wallpapers in the UK. Each metre of these wallcovering products is unique, since the colours of the silk alternate without ever being repeated. The bakbak is coloured in chalk white, cinnamon or chestnut allowing three different tones to illuminate, soften, or intensify the rainbow of the silk fabric. The collection features four individual designs of textured wallcoverings. Horizontal stripes of different colours, Squares of crushed paper, printed in faded shades and glued on a non-woven backing, two geometric motifs, embossed on a printed non-woven wallcovering, complete the range which makes it possible to combine different colours, structures and materials in one room. A Rainbow of colours is displayed across the designs and textures which also feature metallic accents. These wallcoverings are supplied cut length, with no minimum order. When hanging, glue is to be applied on the wall for all items (only for the crushed paper a light humidification of the back is required). Width of the wallcoverings is 110 cm for the bakbak / silk weave and for the crushed paper, and 100 cm for the printed non-woven wallcoverings. The non-woven wallcoverings are ecological, are FSC certified (licence code C001706) and are printed thanks to solar energy. They have a good light resistance and obtained a European fire certificate B S1 D0 as well as a marine certificate.
