Town and Country

Designed for both town house interiors and relaxed country living, Zoffany's Town & Country collection offers an array of earthy autumnal tones and a delicate mineral colour palette in a versatile mix of textural weaves, printed fabrics and gently patterned wallpapers. These seven Zoffany wallpaper designs start with Aquarelle is a delicate damask painted using watercolour and salt resist to produce an unusual textured effect. While another damask in the form of Carrera printed with textural layers of flat and metallic inks to recreate the beauty of marble while maintaining a fine contemporary damask design. Diamonds and Flowers essentially adapted from a block printed wallpaper in Zoffany’s Temple Newsam collection. Ebru is where mica and matt inks are combined to capture the ethereal quality of the marbling, a traditional marbling technique similar to that historically used for end papers. Octavo is both an organic and contemporary design that comprises irregular strata of subtle horizontal ribbons printed over a white pigment resist to great effect. Finally, Silk Plain is a Zoffany classic and features a very subtle silk slub texture printed with mica to contrast with a chalky ground. Sophisticated and decorative designs, colourful floral patterns and an emphasis on surface texture are seen across the three collections, which have been designed to complement each other and will create room schemes that are chic and contemporary or casual and comfortable.
