Le Jardin d’Aloès – A Dreamlike Garden in Relief
The Le Jardin d’Aloès collection by Élitis presents wallcoverings as decorative artworks with a monumental presence. Each design evokes the look of sculpted plasterwork, softened by luxurious materials such as chenille velvet, suede-like suedette, and Élitis’ signature linen texture.
These creations play with light and shadow to create a soft, almost sculptural depth. In this three-dimensional decor, fruits and berries appear to be carved directly into the wall — forming a dreamlike garden in bas-relief, where jewel-like shapes emerge naturally from the surface.
These acoustic 3D coverings were first sculpted by hand in the Élitis workshop, at both full and half scale, preserving the beauty of handmade imperfections. The interplay of linen, chenille, and suedette across various designs adds tactile richness and visual depth to each piece.
