A well-known collection is the Moooi Menagerie of Extinct Animals. The Extinct Animals collection is full of animal characteristics such as fur, feathers or skin. The designer, Marcel Wanders, wanted to tell the story of forgotten and extinct animals in a unique and creative way. He traveled the world to visit all the museums that had images of extinct animals. Based on this inspiration, the Museum of Extinct Animals was set up, an exhibition and collection of products in which extinct animals are put on a pedestal, as it were. Moooi's vision is to honor extinct animals and to celebrate diversity in nature.
